2017 Colorado All Star Camp Top Performers

Youth Division

Best of the Best

2022 Jackson Keil (Sterling): 5’11 crafty guard blossomed as the camp progressed showcasing tenacious on-ball defense, strong ball handling skills, and a motor on both sides of the ball. Excels in isolation situations with unique passing ability in the full court. An improvement in consistent motor and jump shooting ability will take his game to the next level.

2022 Sam Howery (Divine Redeemer): 5’7 guard was the most fundamentally sound in the camp. A high basketball IQ and consistent 12-15 jump shot paired with high level passing ability makes him a menace to guard. Consistent motor creates extra opportunities rebounding, and getting steals in the passing lanes. Adding size and strength is the next step.

2022 Quinten Hupp (Scott Nebraska): Above average passing ability with the skill to hit the open man in the full or half court. Gets to the rim with ease against the smaller defender. Adding consistent shooting ability is the main focus.

Rising Stock

2022 Vince May Jr (Dsst Stapleton): Vince with his athletic size and frame paired with a quick first step going right to rim was one of the toughest players to guard on the day. High IQ passing ability paired with the quick first step consistently puts defenders on their heels. Improvement in shooting ability is his next step.

2022 Jaylen Johnson-Myles (DSST-GVR): While undersized at 5’1, his quick first step going left and consistency shooting from outside kept defenders guessing. Defensive ability is an area in need of improvement but his continued development as a scorer creates a high upside.

2022 Lamarius Royston (Aurora Hills): 6’4 forward is a physical big body that communicates at a high level on the floor. Unstoppable around the rim at this event, Lamarius is in need of continued shooting development and increasing his IQ on the floor. Top rebounder of the West Coast Elite All-Star Camp Colorado Youth Division.

2022 Aidan Carnevale (Prospect Ridge Academy): 6’4 long, lengthy player is a high-level finisher at the rim that easily finishes around the rim over competitors. While Aidan rebounds at a high level, an increase in his motor, coordination, and foot work will bode well for him in the future.
