The biggest year ever for West Coast Elite Basketball is coming to a close.

Ryan Silver, the top global youth basketball promoter on the West Coast, couldn’t be happier.

“It has been an unbelievable ride this year for everybody,” Silver said. “The camps, tournaments, showcases and teams continue to grow. Our mission of impacting lives continues to grow every year.”

West Coast Elite Basketball just completed four huge, successful tournaments/camps.

The Summer Kickoff tournament (July 6-8) at Pomona-Pitzer drew over 140 teams and the “Elite 100” (July 8-10) individual camp was a huge success. Nearly 400 players were involved in the biggest camp in the region.

Nearly 150 college coaches from all over the country were on hand scouting and evaluating players.

However, West Coast Elite wasn’t finished with the two events in the NCAA’s first live-period week.

The summer classic tournament (July 13-15) had nearly 150 teams in Irvine, and the High-Academic Super Bowl in Henderson, Nevada at Coronado High School drew nearly 100 participants.

The High-Academic Super Bowl had nearly 50 college coaches from the Division III level not only scouting and evaluating but working directly with the players for maximum exposure, contact and relationship opportunities.

“We can’t wait for next year,” Silver said. “The opportunity to help kids reach their dreams of playing college basketball and becoming successful people in the world is what drives us to keep going.”
