West Coast Elite held its first annual Final 4 party at the Saguaro Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona this past week to kick off the Final 4 weekend for coaches, scouts, civic leaders, and the basketball community. The Final 4 Extravaganza was regarded as the TOP event for the Final 4 weekend with over 1,000 basketball minds, and community leaders in attendance. The party was attended by numerous leaders in the community including the Mayor of Phoenix, the Mayor of Scottsdale, the Chief of Police, and Head Coach of the Phoenix Suns Earl Watson. The high profile attendees did not end there with the event attended by Coach John Calipari (Kentucky), Randy Bennett (St. Marys), Wayne Tinkle (Oregon State), Wyking Jones (Cal), Marty Wilson (Pepperdine), Reggie Theus (Northridge), Eric Musselman (Nevada), Eran Ganot (Hawaii), Travis Decuire (Montana) and Kevin McKenna/Mike Minega (Oregon), Jerod Haase (Stanford) along with more then 500 other coaches from around the country.
Ryan Silver, regarded as one of the most influential people in basketball, gathered together the basketball world for an all star event to promote West Coast Elite camps, tournaments, and players. Director of Business Development Scotty Martin on the Final 4 Extravaganza, "The Final 4 Extravaganza exceeded all expectations in the response we received from the basketball world and the community.
