West Coast Elite UA culminated its inaugural season with their Northern California program this past weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Fab 48 tournament. West Coast Elite UA Nor Cal had a dominant first year competing in events across the West Coast with high expectations for the 2018-2019 season with Chris Whirlow at the helm. The program will expand to twelve teams in 2018 with four teams each at the 15U, 16U, and 17U levels.

West Coast Elite President Ryan Silver on WCE Nor Cal program: "Coach Whirlow did a fantastic job, he is a great person and universally respected in Northern California.  Coach Driscoll will be back with our 17u Silver group next year utilizing his tremendous passion and energy.  Coach Wayne Hunter was outstanding.  Our 15u Silver team beat every team in Nor Cal and won the Fab 48 Silver Division.  Coach Mark Doherty, Rockwell and Ojanen all did a great job as well.  We are very pleased with our Nor Cal teams.  Coach Walker did a fantastic job with our 16u UAA group and will be back next year to Coach our 17u UAA group.  Josh Calbert is one of the most connected people in grassroots basketball.  I am very proud of Josh's growth and development.  He has a very bright future."

West Coast Elite Under Armour is one of the largest grassroots programs in the United States.  In 2018-2019 West Coast Elite expects to field over 100 teams from 3rd grade to 12th grade.  West Coast Elite currently has hundreds of players at the collegiate level and sixteen players currently on Ivy League rosters including six players at Harvard University.  The program has built itself into the premier Division 3 producer with players currently on college rosters across the United States. More announcements are expected out of the Los Angeles based program as it continues its expansion initiatives.
